There is absolutely nothing wrong with the metal she used for this application, the temperatures reached in the oven of the PAX are not high enough to interfere with galvanized sheet steel. On that note however, IF you can, just get a couple more screens for the PAX from whoever you find them cheapest and bend one the way CCbrat did and use the other for the second screen.
This is highly not recommended to do. Not all metals are made equal, and there are different 'finishes' and polishes and chemicals added, for whatever the originl purpose of that metal sheet was for. These polishes etc will release chemicals upon being heated.. Try @ your own risk…
