The Volcano Hybrid vaporizer takes the timeless performance of the original Volcano vaporizer and updates it with the latest tech and for the first time, direct draw through a whip.

The first thing you’ll notice about the look of the Volcano body itself is the updated display panel, which now features touch control for greater precision over your vaping temperature. The Volcano Hybrid also features a removable power-cord for the first time in Volcano history, allowing for easy replacement and storage.

The Hybrid retains the same balloon bags and forced air vaporization system that made the original Volcano Vaporizer a mainstay. However, with the addition of the whip, the Volcano Hybrid adds even more control of your vaping experience. Instead of relying on the fan to create your vapor, you can use the power of your breath to control the density of your hits. This will allow for larger, denser clouds -which can be tailored to your preference.

The functionality of the Volcano Classic and Digital has also been updated in the Volcano Hybrid. A re-designed heating chamber vaporizes herb more evenly and efficiently. Meanwhile, an improved heating element allows the Volcano Hybrid to reach your desired temperature much more quickly than previous models.

"Same convection heater" sort of, not really… it introduces a lot more conduction in this model compared to the previous volcano models. It's fairly revised, I'd say "new heating style" (hybrid in the name denotes the fact that it is hybrid convection/conduction heating AFAIK).
I personally think it's heating style is most similar to a plenty, but with an air pump.
